There's a bar near the entrance and a grill area as well near it staffed with helpful, friendly people. There are a few video poker tables here and there in the establishment. The room is large and has a nice friendly feel to it. a little video poker and casually watched. I was surprised to find a pool tournament in progress. I was walking by Sam's after seeing a film at The Hollywood Theatre and thought it looked like an interesting place to drop in and have a drink. so there must be something to this place. With the exception of a couple chatting at a table all by themselves. Everybody else was at the pool tables shooting pool. That wasn't a problem as I was the only person interested in plkaying them. There are only three video poker machines in Sam's. Nice tables to sit out if your eating.I think the lamps over the table look rather classy. So it was kinda nice to have something to take my mind off the Video Game as i sipped my pint. So I could play video Poker and pause to watch the players shoot pool. I ordered a pint of Rainer and settles down at a video poker machine next to a pool table where a game was underway. there Iwasn't in to shoot pool this visit.
